About COMPUTER LITERACY TEST
KEONICS has been entrusted with the task of conducting the Online Computer Literacy Test in association with the Centre for e-Governance. As per the Government Order No:DPAR 104 e-Gov 2014 dated 2nd December 2014, all Government employees are required to take the Online Computer Literacy Test ( i.e refer GO No DPAR 43 SCR 2008 Bangalore dated 07.03.2012) for which employees need not pay for the 1st attempt. However, any employee attempting to clear the Online Computer Literacy Test in a 2nd attempt or any further attempt is required to pay an Exam Fees of Rs 359 + bank charges.

How to Apply
Candidate/Employee is required to apply online through https://clt.karnataka.gov.in/ website. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.
Candidate/Employee is required to have a valid personal E-mail ID & Mobile number. It should be kept active till the completion of the exam/certification process. This E-mail-id will be used for communication by the testing and certification agency.
Under no circumstances, Candidate/Employee should not:
  • Share their E-mail-id to any other person
  • Use E-mail ID of any other person
  • In case a Candidate/Employee does not have a valid personal E-mail ID,he/she should create a new E-mail ID before applying online.
    Candidate/Employee is required to upload the soft copy of the passport size photograph (Max Size: 50 KB, Min Size: 30 KB Allowed file extensions jpg or jpeg) & the signature (Max Size: 20 KB ,Min Size:10 KB Allowed file extensions jpg or jpeg).

    Online Registration
    Candidate/Employee can register themselves by using https://clt.karnataka.gov.in/ by providing KGID/Registration number and Date of Birth as per HRMS record.
    On entering the valid details, system will verify and display the Candidate/Employee profile details if available.
    Once the required details are entered & uploaded the photo and signature on submission, system will send E-mail to the registered E-mail Id as well as SMS to the mobile number specified during registration.
    Candidate/Employee can login using the User name / Password for scheduling the exam (for booking the exam slot).
    Once exam slot is booked, candidate/employee can download the Admit Card & attend the exam on scheduled date & batch time at selected test center.
    Online Payment
    If the candidate/employee failed in the first attempt of the exam, candidate/Employee need to pay the Exam Fees for each further attempt.
    Candidates/Employee can make only online payment mode using Debit / Credit card powered by Master or Visa or Rupay as well as using the Net Banking User ID/ Password.
    Please do not send the printout/ fees payment receipt to the Testing and Certification Agency.
